Welcome

Here at North Baddesley Infant School and Nursery we nurture our children to be the best they can be, encouraging them to be resilient, independent and respectful.  We believe in lifelong learning, regularly showing our children that we are all learners and believe that learning changes lives.  We develop curiosity by asking big questions about the world around us and give high quality feedback to help our children with their next challenge.

We are situated in a semi-rural village between Romsey and Southampton.  Our school was established in 1876 and we have always been a central part of the local community.  We are a three form entry school with nine classes and a nursery class for children aged 2-4 years.

Growth is an important aspect of our school and nursery.  We are surrounded by beautiful grounds and our classes are named after trees that thrive here, recognising and mirroring the journey of growth that each child takes as they move through our school.

We have an incredible staff who are committed to giving the children unique experiences, security and excitement. We want the best for our children and this means that we challenge them appropriately in the classroom whilst making sure that we have lots of fun at the same time!

We pride ourselves on the relationships we have with our children and their families.  We hope that you are able to get a sense of our nurturing ethos as you walk around our school.  Everyone here has a voice and is listened to with respect.

If you would like any further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly.

We hope to see you soon,

Mrs Carla Lashmar
