We use Tapestry as a home-school communication tool when thinking about each child’s learning. If your child reaches a milestone in their learning (that is so say they acheive a next step), an observation will be added to Tapestry as a way of sharing with home the learning that has taken place. As a family, you have the ability to upload any milestones achieved at home that can later be shared with the class. Updates from home play a vital role in developing the whole profile of your child and can support their progress against their Early Learning Goals.
We also collect 'physical' work throughout the year and develop a learning journal with your child. Their milestones in their learning are recorded as well as using this as a place to show any independent working.
