North Baddesley Infant School

Growing together, learning for life

The School Day

Our classroom doors open at 8.50am, with children having a ten-minute window in which to arrive. Morning registers are taken at 9am, starting the morning session which runs until 12 noon. The afternoon session begins at 1.15pm, lasting until pick-up time at 3.15pm.

Teachers are available in the playground between 8.50am and 9am for minor queries and information sharing.

It is important that children get to school on time as a late start can be unsettling for them. We ask that, if parents know their child will be late for school, they let us know. Any child arriving after 9am must be brought directly to the school office.

Please inform your class teacher or the school office if anyone different is picking up your child. Please ensure that they have been given your unique password.

We have a duty to provide a daily act of collective worship. Each day there is a whole-school, year-group or class assembly, when children can reflect on and explore a range of ideas. Class assemblies, organised by the class teacher, are also held when appropriate to a topic. Assembles are usually held in the school hall.
