North Baddesley Infant School Nursery and Hollytree Pre-School are both term-time, 38 weeks a year, teacher-led settings with fully trained, qualified and experienced Early Years teachers leading the units alongside other qualified staff to ensure the children have the very best start to their educational adventure.

Welcoming children from 2-4 years old, our vision is to nurture children to become confident learners who are curious about their world.  We encourage children to take risks and challenge themselves within a supportive, safe and stimulating environment.  Our children recognise that they belong to a wider school community which promotes respect, resilience and independence.  Our practice of inclusion, recognising the needs and interests of each individual child, ensures that all children are happy, successful and ready for lifelong learning.

We encourage a commitment to regular days and times to support a child’s routine and to ensure we can meet their needs when they are with us; however, we are often able to accommodate additional sessions as required.  If there is a high demand for a desired session, a child may be put on a waiting list.

Application & Admissions Process

• To register your interest or to enquire about the availability of a place for your child at nursery or pre-school, please call us (02380 412412), or email:

• We will then send your further information about our nursery and will set up a Parentmail account for you.
• Upon receipt of your completed Parentmail registration forms and EYE (Early Years Education) Parent Declaration, we will book your requested sessions, offer you alternatives or add you to our waiting list.
• Once you have accepted your offer, we require payment of a non-refundable registration fee .  On receipt of this, we will give you our Welcome Pack with more detailed information about how our nursery operates and how we will work with you and your child.
• After you have accepted your offer, should you require Welcome Pack, a charge of £50 (nursery)/£30 (pre-school) is to be paid using details provided at time of offer. Upon receipt of payment and ID documents, you will be issued with your Welcome Pack which gives you everything you need to know about your child’s time at our nursery or pre-school.
